WEBSITE TERMS & PRODUCT LEGAL POLICY

Welcome to Paps Wood Crafts. These Website Terms & Product Legal Policies govern the use of our website and the purchase and use of products sold by Paps Wood Crafts.

By accessing our website, submitting an order, purchasing a product, or requesting a custom or personalized product, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

1. HANDMADE PRODUCT NOTICE

Many Paps Wood Crafts products are handmade, customized, engraved, laser-cut, assembled, finished, painted, stained, or otherwise individually produced.

Because of the handmade nature of our products, minor differences between photographs, samples, proofs, and finished products are normal and are not necessarily considered defects.

Natural wood may vary in:

Grain pattern
Color
Texture
Knots and markings
Shade
Density
Appearance after staining or finishing

Epoxy, resin, painted, stained, and other handmade finishes may also contain natural or production-related variations.

Minor variations make each handmade product unique.

2. PRODUCT DIMENSIONS

Product dimensions listed on our website are intended to be reasonably accurate.

Because many products are handmade, actual dimensions may vary slightly from the dimensions stated in a product listing.

Customers requiring an exact dimension for a particular installation or application should contact Paps Wood Crafts before ordering.

3. PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHS & COLORS

We make reasonable efforts to accurately display our products.

Colors may appear differently depending on:

Computer or mobile device screens
Monitor settings
Lighting
Photography
Natural wood grain
Stain absorption
Paint or resin variations

We cannot guarantee that the color displayed on your screen will exactly match the finished product.

4. CUSTOM & PERSONALIZED PRODUCTS

Customers are responsible for providing accurate personalization information when placing an order.

This includes, where applicable:

Names
Initials
Dates
Addresses
Coordinates
Lake names
Locations
Messages
Spelling
Numbers
Colors
Fonts
Artwork
Logos
Photographs
Other customization instructions

Paps Wood Crafts is not responsible for errors contained in information submitted by the customer and reproduced exactly as provided.

5. DESIGN PROOFS & CUSTOMER APPROVAL

When Paps Wood Crafts provides a design proof for approval, the customer is responsible for carefully reviewing the entire proof.

Names
Dates
Locations
Dimensions
Placement
Layout
Colors
Design elements
Personalization

Once a customer approves a proof, Paps Wood Crafts may begin production.

Customer-requested changes after approval may result in additional charges or production delays.

Approval of a proof constitutes approval of the information and design shown on that proof.

If Paps Wood Crafts makes an error that differs from the customer's approved proof, please contact us so we can work to correct the issue.

6. CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED ARTWORK

Customers who submit photographs, logos, artwork, trademarks, graphics, text, or other materials for reproduction represent that they own the material or have permission to use and reproduce it.

The customer is responsible for obtaining any required copyright, trademark, licensing, publicity, or other permissions.

Paps Wood Crafts reserves the right to refuse any order when we reasonably believe that reproducing submitted material may violate another person's intellectual-property or other legal rights.

7. CUSTOM ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Custom and personalized products may begin production shortly after an order is received or after a proof is approved.

Cancellation requests should therefore be submitted as soon as possible.

If production has not started, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate a cancellation.

Once customization, engraving, cutting, printing, assembly, or other production has begun, cancellation may not be available.

Any cancellation or refund remains subject to applicable law and the policies stated on the applicable product listing or selling platform.

8. CUSTOM PRODUCT RETURNS

Because personalized and custom products are created specifically for an individual customer, they generally cannot be returned merely because the customer changes their mind.

This does not eliminate any rights a customer may have if:

The wrong item was shipped
The product was damaged
Paps Wood Crafts made a production error
The finished personalization differs materially from an approved proof
Applicable law otherwise provides a right or remedy

Please contact us promptly if there is a problem with your order.

9. PRODUCT USE & SAFETY

Customers are responsible for using products only for their intended purpose.

Products should be inspected before use.

Products containing small pieces, dice, game pieces, detachable components, or similar items should be kept away from young children when those items may present a choking or other safety hazard.

Decorative products are not intended to be used as safety equipment, structural components, climbing supports, or for another purpose for which they were not designed.

Wall-mounted products must be installed using appropriate hardware suitable for the wall, product weight, and installation location.

Paps Wood Crafts is not responsible for damage or injury resulting from improper installation, misuse, alteration, abuse, neglect, or use of a product for an unintended purpose, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

10. CARE OF WOOD PRODUCTS

Wood is a natural material that can react to moisture, humidity, sunlight, heat, and temperature changes.

Unless a product is specifically identified as suitable for exterior or wet-area use, wood products should be protected from excessive:

Water
Moisture
Humidity
Direct sunlight
Extreme heat
Extreme cold

Natural expansion, contraction, aging, color change, and grain movement may occur over time.

11. PRODUCT INFORMATION

We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate descriptions, photographs, measurements, prices, specifications, and availability information.

If we discover a material error affecting an order, we may contact the customer before fulfillment to correct the issue.

If the corrected information is unacceptable to the customer, the customer will be given the opportunity to cancel the affected order and receive an appropriate refund.

12. PRICES

Prices are subject to change without notice for future purchases.

The price applicable to an order is generally the price presented to the customer when the order is submitted, subject to correction of obvious errors and applicable law.

Taxes, shipping costs, upgrades, customization charges, or other applicable fees may be added where disclosed during checkout.

13. SHIPPING

Processing and shipping estimates are provided in good faith.

Delivery dates may be affected by:

Carrier delays
Severe weather
Holidays
Transportation disruptions
Incorrect addresses
Natural disasters
Events outside our reasonable control

Tracking information will be provided when available.

14. DAMAGED ORDERS

If an order arrives damaged, please contact Paps Wood Crafts promptly.

Customers may be asked to provide photographs showing:

The damaged product
The shipping container
Interior packaging
Exterior packaging damage
Shipping label

Please retain the original packaging until the claim or replacement process has been completed.

Paps Wood Crafts will work with the customer and shipping carrier, when appropriate, to determine the proper resolution.

15. LOST OR MISSING SHIPMENTS

If tracking information indicates that an order may have been lost in transit, please contact us.

We will make reasonable efforts to assist with carrier investigations and claims.

Any replacement or refund will be handled according to applicable law, carrier requirements, and the circumstances of the shipment.

16. WARRANTIES

Paps Wood Crafts stands behind the workmanship of our products.

Any specific warranty applicable to a product will be stated in the applicable product description or provided with the product.

Except for warranties expressly provided by Paps Wood Crafts and rights that cannot legally be excluded, no additional warranty is created merely by photographs, descriptions, advertising materials, or statements that are not expressly identified as a warranty.

Nothing in this policy limits warranty or consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

17. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Paps Wood Crafts will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential losses resulting from misuse, improper installation, unauthorized modification, neglect, or use of a product for a purpose for which it was not designed.

Where permitted by law, Paps Wood Crafts' liability arising from a particular product purchase will not exceed the amount actually paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.

18. WEBSITE INFORMATION

Information provided on the Paps Wood Crafts website is provided for general product and purchasing purposes.

We may update product descriptions, photographs, availability, policies, prices, and other website information from time to time.

We do not guarantee that every website page will be free from typographical, technical, photographic, or other errors.

19. WEBSITE AVAILABILITY

We make reasonable efforts to keep our website available and functioning properly.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may temporarily restrict or suspend website access for maintenance, security, technical problems, updates, or circumstances outside our control.

20. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise stated, photographs, product designs, graphics, logos, written descriptions, artwork, website content, and other original materials created by Paps Wood Crafts are the property of Paps Wood Crafts or are used with permission.

They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, sold, commercially exploited, or represented as another person's work without permission, except as permitted by law.

Purchasing a physical Paps Wood Crafts product does not automatically transfer intellectual-property rights in the underlying design, artwork, photographs, or digital files.

21. DIGITAL FILES

If Paps Wood Crafts sells digital designs or downloadable files, the purchase provides only the license or usage rights specifically described in the applicable listing.

Unless expressly authorized, purchasing a digital file does not transfer ownership of the underlying copyright or other intellectual-property rights.

Digital files may not be resold, redistributed, shared, uploaded to file-sharing services, or represented as the purchaser's original digital artwork unless the applicable license expressly permits that use.

22. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Our website may use or link to third-party services such as payment processors, shipping carriers, social-media platforms, mapping services, marketplaces, or other service providers.

Those third parties may have their own terms, privacy policies, and operating procedures.

Paps Wood Crafts is not responsible for third-party websites or services except to the extent required by applicable law.

24. FRAUD & UNAUTHORIZED ACTIVITY

Paps Wood Crafts reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or investigate an order when we reasonably believe that an order involves fraud, unauthorized payment, illegal activity, misuse of our website, or another legitimate security concern.

If a paid order is canceled by Paps Wood Crafts under this provision, any refund legally due will be processed appropriately.

25. RIGHT TO REFUSE CUSTOM WORK

Paps Wood Crafts reserves the right to decline custom work that:

Appears unlawful
Violates intellectual-property rights
Contains threatening or abusive material
Cannot reasonably be produced with available equipment or materials
Presents an unreasonable safety risk
Is otherwise inappropriate for our business

Any payment for work we decline before production will be handled according to the circumstances of the order and applicable law.

26. GOVERNING LAW

These terms will be governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without overriding any consumer protection or other rights that applicable law requires to be governed by another jurisdiction.

Any dispute will be handled in an appropriate court having legal jurisdiction over the matter.

27. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.

28. NO WAIVER OF LEGAL RIGHTS

Nothing contained in these Terms or Product Policies is intended to waive or restrict any consumer right, remedy, warranty, or protection that cannot legally be waived.

29. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Paps Wood Crafts may revise these terms from time to time.

Changes will apply prospectively from the effective date of the revised policy unless applicable law requires otherwise.

The current effective date will be displayed at the top of this policy.
